Ceiling Fan China How To Install A Ceiling Fan If There Is Not Power There Now?

How to install a ceiling fan if there is not power there now? - ceiling fan china

I live in a terraced house with two floors, with no ceiling fans. All switches control light bulbs plugged into outlets. We want to install a fan in the living room and a room in our. I tried searching online but all I see is how you replace a lamp with a fan. If you add a link or advice on how deal with this situation?

A good website is http://www.howstuffworks.com/

I have very good information here.

You have to come to power, where you want the fan.

Therefore, it may be advantageous to hire an electrician.

When you do this properly, you need to find a source of energy, as an outlet for some.

Run a piece of 12 / 2 with a double bottom will switch box, where you want. Cut a mounting hole in the wall where your switches. Then you find out where to hang the fan. Cut a hole in the ceiling. If there is a right that his team was ready. If it (and I bet it will), you need the support of intersection between the floor joists in the weight of the fan support. Use a 2x4 or more. You have to make the hole large enough to support the piece screwed on the bolt.

If you access to the area above the upper limit of 2 fish son of mine, where the image is. You may have the upper plate of the wall drill. Two cables is if you have separate controls for fan and light. Attach the other ends of the hole in the ceiling. Mark the cables so that you know what the fan and light.

Back to the photo on the wall. Take advantage of the opportunities you give and takePigtail (short cable) to black wire, a power line to each switch. Be sure and cover them with tape. All white son should be closed and recorded jointly. Attach to each switch pigtail, and handed a black wire from the ceiling to appropriote. (a) for the fan and light. Before mounting the fan, the patch all the holes I had to do and finish (color, etc..)

Mount the fan according to the manufacturer's instructions

It's a bit of work, but not hard if you see something on basic knowledge in electrical and carpentry work.

I do not know what type of roof or if the bars are
visible. Otherwise, buy a stud finder to locate the beam.
Mount the plate on the bar, put a long piece of string to 2 son fan, and insert the end of the CAP same ........ a strip of 1 / 2 inch insulation from the wire lamp
and around each screw the screws, making sure that they do not touch each other or you will have a short trip when the switch turns the fan. If you have a problem with this,
For rapid expansion and cut the long end.
Close the lamp fan 2 son. If there is a light with the fan, squeeze the 2 white son, then 2 black son ....... Make sure to separate, her.
Now that everthing is connected to mount the fan / light
the motherboard. You can connect the cable from the roof of a decorative chain hooks or hide in a form of wire (it's like a case of
) for cable
That's all, remain calm.
We hope that this responseYour question.

Not easy. You need to install cable and an electrical system and support the mass of fans. Fishing cables in the walls of the room where the ceiling will be tried.

This project can also be a means, or have a real bear in terms of access. If you have access to the attic above the ceiling, which can not be made bad. Your home institution will have a choice of 4 "round boxes specially designed for mounting a ceiling fan. There are 3 basic types of fan clubs. Or ride on the side of a carrier in a bar or come with an adjustable bar period between two beams . The location and access is determined by the style that fits you best.

Get a fan cable may be the most difficult. If the existing wall switch controls light to be able to get a switch box fan cable. If you're lucky, you dig into the cave where the switch is a fish, here it is.

I ran 14 / 3 wire fan switch. These can control both fan with light wall switch. # 14 wire is all that is needed for a light and a fan. The largest wire # 12 is not necessary for this application is stiffer and harder to work.(Note: If the switch 20 are used son # 12 in the case of a 15-AMP switch on # 14 is coarser.)

There are two forms of a switching output can be wired (see links below). When the power is wired for power in the swich (1 link) you can keep your switched outlets. When the power is wired to power, the containers to get the cables and switches power must use to all the fans and not in a position to hold the shift points more work to make another cable control box.

I assume that your room is in the upper and lower lounge. You can access the attic, but probably not for the living room. Not impossible, but always a cable to the room can be a bear. If you plan on painting or the opportunity to access some traces of color cutting small holes for the telegrams to be your only option. Sometimes you can cut the access holes for small cabinets for the wall repairs are not so critical.

A large electrical loadFacilities amount of working age. It is not easy and sometimes cable fishing requires patience of the saints;

Good luck.

BTW, I installed 3 ceiling fans in our new house for us only 2 weeks. My father was an electrician and worked with him as a summer job in HS and college.
